The modern-day Scandinavian Journal of Work, Environment & Health (Scand J Work Environ Health) was first published in January 1975, following the merger of two existing Nordic periodicals, the Nordisk Hygienisk Tidskrift(HWĪ) from Sweden and Work-Environment-Health (WEH) from Finland (7). Both titles had a fairly long history before this time.
